SF MARINA
San Francisco
A residence in the Marina District, realized on a condensed timeline. The existing architecture was intentionally restrained, and the interior answers it with a custom millwork package that gives the rooms warmth, depth, and definition.
The entry holds the project's defining detail: a kennel for the family's dog, built into the millwork so completely that it reads as cabinetry. It is a small gesture that explains the larger one, an interior shaped around the particulars of how this family lives.
Furnishings pair custom pieces with off-the-shelf selections, a balance that made the schedule possible without flattening the result. Artwork and accessories were curated at length, giving each room its character while leaving the architecture composed and unhurried.
